Introduction
Three Ring Development (“Three Ring Development,” “we,” “us”) is a digital marketing and web development agency. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have.
It applies to threeringdev.com, the marketing and web services we provide to clients, and the internal software we use to manage client advertising accounts, including our application that connects to the Google Ads API.
When we build or host a website for a client, that client’s own privacy policy governs information about its visitors. We process that information only on the client’s behalf and under the client’s instructions.

Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company, and the content of messages you send through our contact forms, email, or phone.
- Client account information: business details, billing contacts, and access our clients grant us to their websites, hosting, and advertising accounts so we can provide our services.
- Website usage information: pages visited, referring site, browser and device type, approximate location, and similar data collected through cookies and analytics tools, subject to your consent choices.
- Security and server logs: when you visit, our hosting, security and content delivery services automatically record your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time. This happens whether or not you accept cookies, because it is needed to operate and protect the site. We use these logs only for security and troubleshooting.
- Google user data: when an authorized Three Ring Development user signs in with Google to use our Google Ads API application, we receive access to the Google Ads accounts that user is permitted to manage. Details are in the next section.
Google user data and the Google Ads API
Our Google Ads API application is an internal tool used only by Three Ring Development staff to manage advertising for our clients. It is not offered, sold, or made available to the public or to third parties.
What we access. With the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords permission, the application can read and manage the Google Ads accounts that the signed-in user already has permission to access. This includes campaigns, ad groups, ads, keywords, budgets, bids, conversion settings, and performance reports. We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or any other Google service.
How we use it. We use Google Ads data only to:
- Report on campaign performance for the client who owns the account.
- Make campaign changes the client has authorized, such as adjusting budgets, bids, ads, keywords, and campaign status.
- Diagnose and fix problems with the client’s advertising and conversion tracking.
What we do not do. We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it for advertising to anyone, to build user profiles, or to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models. We do not combine one client’s data with another client’s data, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to managing that client’s advertising.
Sharing. We share a client’s Google Ads data only with that client, with service providers that help us operate the application under confidentiality obligations (for example, our hosting provider and the AI assistant we use to analyze and act on account data at our direction), or when required by law.
Storage and retention. OAuth tokens are stored on servers we control. Account data is retrieved from Google when needed and is not kept longer than necessary to complete the task. Reports we prepare for a client are retained as part of our records for that client relationship.
Deletion and revocation. You can revoke our application’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When access is revoked, we delete the stored tokens. When our access to a client’s account ends, we stop accessing it and delete any cached Google Ads data for that account within 30 days, unless we are required by law to keep it. You can also ask us to delete data using the contact details below.
Compliance. Our use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and provide quotes.
- Deliver, manage, and support the services our clients hire us for, including websites, hosting, SEO, and advertising.
- Send invoices and service-related communications.
- Understand how our website is used so we can improve it.
- Protect the security of our systems and our clients’ accounts.
- Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for basic site functions and, with your consent, for analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site.
Optional cookies fall into two groups that you control separately:
- Analytics: Google Analytics measures visits and how pages are used.
- Marketing: ad measurement and remarketing. This site does not use marketing cookies today. If we add them, we will ask you again before any are set.

Nothing in the Analytics or Marketing groups loads until you choose. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie button in the bottom corner of the page or the Cookie settings link in the footer. When you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics and marketing cookies we can reach and reload the page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not work as intended.
Consent record. When you make a choice, we keep a record of it: a random ID stored in your trd_consent cookie, the date and time, your choices, the policy version and the page you were on. The record does not include your name or IP address. We keep it for 24 months so we can show the choice was made.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. Marketing cookies stay off, and the cookie banner tells you the signal was received.

Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run our business, such as hosting, email, payment, and software providers, who may use it only to perform services for us.
- With the client a piece of information belongs to.
- When required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- As part of a merger, sale, or transfer of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Data security and retention
We use encryption in transit and limit access to authorized staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, for the length of a client relationship, or as required for legal, tax, and accounting reasons. Then we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your rights and choices
- Access and correction: you can ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it.
- Marketing emails: you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.
- Cookies: you can change your cookie choices at any time with the cookie button or the Cookie settings link in the footer, or through your browser.
- Google access: you can revoke our Google Ads API application’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- State privacy rights: depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law, such as the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
- Global Privacy Control: we honor your browser’s GPC signal as an opt-out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising.
- Appeals: if we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. We will respond within the time required by law and explain the outcome.
- Authorized agents: someone you authorize can make a request for you. We may ask for proof of their authority and confirm your identity.
- No discrimination: we will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

Children’s privacy
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
